Business operations of investment firms and Hanfa’s scope of activities and competence in this area are regulated by the Capital Market Act.
The Capital Market Act defines an investment firm as any legal person whose regular occupation or business is the provision of one or more investment services to third parties and/or the performance of one or more investment activities on a professional basis.
This website contains a list of companies authorised to provide investment services and perform investment activities which includes investment firms authorised by Hanfa to provide investment services and perform investment activities, credit institutions authorised by the Croatian National Bank to provide investment services and perform investment activities, and companies managing open-ended investment funds with public offering authorised by Hanfa to provide portfolio management and investment advice services. In addition, this website also provides a list of tied agents, a list of investment firms and investment fund management companies with their registered offices in Member States that provide investment services and perform investment activities in the territory of the Republic of Croatia (notifications), and a list of market intermediaries.
