Vesna Kadić

Secretary General

Vesna Kadić is Hanfa's Secretary General. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb. After graduation, she started her career in 1997 with the Customs Administration of the Ministry of Finance. Over the years, she performed various functions and was appointed Assistant Director of the Customs Administration in 2004. For a short time in 2010, she served as Interim Director, and from 2011 to 2017 she was the Deputy Director of the Customs Administration. After that, she transferred to the Ministry of Justice, following which, in September 2018, she took up the function of the Secretary General of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency. As part of her professional development, she graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, and through her everyday work, she has gained extensive experience in managing complex teams. Among other achievements, she has managed and coordinated a series of large projects financed from the EU funds, led the working group for negotiations on the Accession of the Republic of Croatia to the EU for the Customs Union chapter and participated in numerous expert and interdepartmental working groups and delegations. She occasionally gives lectures within TAIEX and other EU aid programmes at the Diplomatic Academy and at various business consultations and seminars.
