Kristijan Buk re-elected as President of the Council of Hanfa
At the first constitutive meeting of the Hanfa Council in its fifth term, Council members re-elected Kristijan Buk, representative of the Pension Funds Group of the Investment and Pension Funds Association at the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK), for the position of the President of the Council in the next four-year mandate.
Along with the President of the Council Kristijan Buk and the President of the Hanfa Board Ante Žigman, who participates in the work of the Council ex officio, the Council consists of the following members:
- Ivana Žepić, appointed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia
- Ivana Ravlić Ivanović, appointed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia
- Amalija Jurin, appointed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia
- Davor Tomašković, representative of the Insurers Association at the Croatian Chamber of Economy
- Maja Bešević Vlajo, representative of the UCITS Group and the AIFs Group of the Investment and Pension Funds Association at the Croatian Chamber of Economy
- Ivan Tadin, representative of the Capital Markets Group of the Association of Banks and Other Financial Institutions at the Croatian Chamber of Economy
- Klaudija Karabuva Vidas, representative of the Leasing Association at the Croatian Chamber of Economy.
The Hanfa Council is an advisory body to Hanfa, which since 2009 has regularly met and discussed various topics related to the non-bank financial sector for the purpose of issuing opinions and providing expert and scientific advice aimed at developing and improving supervisory practices. It consists of nine members: President of the Hanfa Board (ex officio), five members elected by representatives of supervised entities’ associations at the Croatian Chamber of Economy and three members appointed by the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The members are appointed for a renewable four-year term of office. The President of the Council is elected by Council members from among themselves, also for a renewable four-year term of office.
