HANFA Board President at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors meeting in Argentina

President of the Board of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) Ante Žigman is participating in committee meetings of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) and the IAIS Global Seminar, held from 10 to 14 June 2019 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
As part of this event, A. Žigman is participating in the IAIS Executive Committee meeting as a representative of the Central and Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia region (CEET region) and in the IAIS Macroprudential Committee meeting.
The efforts of IAIS during this time focuses on three big projects, namely:
- Joint framework for supervising internationally active insurance groups
- Establishment of the Insurance Capital Standard for internationally active insurance groups and global systemically important insurers
- Establishment of a holistic framework for systemic risk.
Within the framework of this official visit, A. Žigman will visit the Argentinian Securities Commission (Comisión Nacional de Valores - CNV), where he will meet with members of the Commission, with a view to establishing bilateral relations and cooperation with this institution.
