Do not trade on the epicinvests.com platform and with the company C.F Global Enterprise LLC that manages it
Published on 27 October 2021
The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa) is warning investors in the Republic of Croatia about the CFD trading platform epicinvests.com.
The website of the platform epicinvests.com states that Epicinvests is the name under which the company C. F Global Enterprise LLC operates, registered under the following number: 1314 LLC 2021 at the following address: Firsts Floor, First St Bank Ltd building, James Street, P.O. Box 1574, Kingstown VC0100, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This online platform and the company operating it do not have authorisation to provide investment/brokerage services in the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
Hanfa is therefore urging investors in the territory of the Republic of Croatia not to trade via this platform and not to accept trade offers from its sales representatives. Hanfa is not authorised to supervise the legality of its operations, nor can it influence the protection of the rights and interests of investors establishing a business relationship with such persons. Such service providers are often involved in some form of investor fraud.
Please note that the Internet provides access to various websites allowing verification of whether a trading platform and the company operating it are fraudulent or not. Hanfa cannot confirm the authenticity of such sites or guarantee the accuracy of the information offered there; however, potential investors may also take that information into account when deciding whether to start trading via these platforms.
The register of companies authorised by Hanfa to provide investment services and perform investment activities, the register of tied agents and the list of financial service providers from other EU Member States that have met their notification obligation and that can directly provide services in the territory of the Republic of Croatia are available on Hanfa’s website. Hanfa is once again urging investors to check, before entering into a business relationship with any investment firm, whether it has the necessary licences and whether it has met its notification obligation as regards the provision of investment services in the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
We are also inviting investors to, for the purpose of protecting their interests, read the brochure published by Hanfa, which explains in detail what to pay attention to before starting and while trading in financial instruments online. The brochure is available here.
