Hanfa donates Desitudo educational game to primary schools
In modern society, financial literacy is becoming increasingly important, and basic knowledge of finance is particularly significant for young people. It is therefore crucial for primary schools in Croatia to recognize this need and stimulate their students’ interest in the world of finance in order to help them cope well in this environment.
The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa) has donated an educational board game, called Desitudo, to primary schools as one of the creative tools for encouraging financial literacy among students. This educational game allows students to learn about financial concepts such as differentiating desires from needs, money management, saving, investments and financial planning through play and fun.
Desitudo will also help students gain skills that will enable them to better understand how to properly spend money and behave responsibly as regards their own finances. Hanfa's support shows how important it is for all stakeholders in education to work together to prepare children from an early age for the challenges of the financial world.
We invite all primary schools to contact us at edukacija@hanfa.hr to get their copy of Desitudo.
