Supervisory disclosure

Directive (EU) 2019/2034 requires competent authorities to disclose certain information in order for the internal capital market to function as effectively as possible and for citizens of the European Union to have adequate levels of information transparency. The information disclosed should be sufficient to enable a meaningful comparison of the approaches adopted by the competent authorities of individual Member States. Correspondingly, information from all competent authorities should be published in a common format, updated regularly and made accessible at a single electronic location.
The European Banking Authority (EBA) website serves as a centralised electronic repository of data on supervision, carried out, inter alia, under Directive (EU) 2019/2034, allowing for quick and easy comparison of the relevant information. At the same time, the websites of the competent national authorities provide exhaustive and detailed information.
